FAQ
How much does this program cost? All of our programs are funded by the community or grants which means it is offered to you at no cost. We want more people to have stable, living-wage careers rooted in purpose.
Where do people typically find jobs? From large employers like Kemin and Hy-Vee to local businesses and organizations.
Are there requirements to participate in the program? Our only requirements are a High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to work in the U.S., and ready to commit and make a change. Please consider technology needs for online classes such as stable internet connection, appropriate devices to complete activities and engage in class such as a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet with a keyboard.
What are the next steps after I apply? After you apply, you will be put on a waitlist. Once enrollment opens again, you’ll be able to schedule an enrollment call with one of our staff members. Look out for it in your inbox!
How do I know if I should do virtual or in-person? This can be a personal preference or simply the times you have available to attend. If you live in the Des Moines area and are able to attend in person, we highly encourage you to!
